Women's Freedom, Feminism

Women's Freedom: By colorful women's freedom we mean enjoying the best rights of women. It ensures women's personal, social, economic, and even political opportunities and status.

On the other hand, we see women's freedom as women's nudity. The more women are independent women, the more women are naked. Women's independence means women outside the home result in a dissolved family. Women's freedom means earning money results in subservience to others. Women's freedom means more consumption results in capitalist profits.

Women mean advertising, and advertising means nudity. Women's clothes are as short as the ad is a hit.

Women mean fashion and fashion show means the exhibition of women in short clothes. The shorter the dress, the more vulgar the speech, and the bolder the woman.

Capitalists see women as commodities put them in advertisements, put them on fashion shows in nude clothes, and make them commodities. A stupid woman does not understand who benefits from me, who uses me as a tissue.

You are a conscious smart woman of this era. You used to say how many men you saw in short dresses like you in the street, bus, beach, market, office, playground. If women understood how men see them, what they imagine about them, and what their fathers, brothers, and even their sons think about low-status women, then they would not only wear burqas but also sacks.

For those of us who consider Europe and the Western world the center of women's freedom, empowerment, and rights...

Violence against women remains a significant problem in Europe. Although many countries in Europe have made significant progress in women's rights and protection, incidents of violence against women still occur at a high rate. The current picture of violence against women in different European countries and its causes are as follows:

Types and conditions of violence against women in Europe:

  • Domestic Violence: According to a 2014 European Union (EU) survey, one in three women has been a victim of physical or sexual violence since the age of 15. Domestic violence is one of the main forms of violence against women in Europe.

  • Sexual Harassment: Sexual harassment in the workplace and in public is a big problem. Especially at work, women are sexually harassed by colleagues or superiors.

  • Human Trafficking: Trafficking in women is also a major problem in Europe. Especially women are trafficked from Eastern Europe to Western Europe for the sex trade.

  • Femicide: Femicide is an alarming problem. Women are killed especially for family or relational reasons.

Status of Torture by Country:

France

  • Domestic violence: One woman is murdered by her partner every three days in France.

  • Law Enforcement: Laws exist to prevent domestic violence, but effective enforcement is lacking.

UK

  • Sexual Harassment: Rates of sexual harassment at work and in public are quite high.

  • Harassment in Journalism: Women face significant harassment in the journalism profession.

Germany

  • Human Trafficking: Germany is a major destination country for human trafficking.

  • Domestic Violence: One in four women has experienced domestic violence in her lifetime.

Sweden

  • Rape: Sweden has one of the highest rape rates in Europe.

  • Laws and prevention: Sweden's laws against rape and sexual harassment are strict, but the crime rate is still alarming.

Global Statistics on Violence Against Women

Violence Against Women:

  • Prevalence: According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 3 women globally experience physical or sexual violence, most often by an intimate partner. This equates to around 736 million women. The situation has remained largely unchanged over the past decade, indicating a persistent issue (World Health Organization (WHO)).
  • Age Group at Risk: Younger women, particularly those aged 15-24, are among the most at risk. Approximately 1 in 4 women in this age group who have been in a relationship will have experienced violence by an intimate partner by their mid-twenties (World Health Organization (WHO)).

Non-Partner Sexual Violence:

  • Global Impact: About 6% of women worldwide report experiencing sexual violence from someone other than their partner. This type of violence is more common in higher-income countries, such as Australia, New Zealand, and North America (World Bank Gender Data Portal).
  • Underreporting: Due to high levels of stigma and underreporting, the actual prevalence of non-partner sexual violence is likely higher than reported, especially in traditional or patriarchal societies (World Bank Gender Data Portal).

Human Trafficking:

  • Victim Demographics: The UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) reports that women and girls constitute the majority of trafficking victims globally. This includes forced labor, sexual exploitation, and other forms of abuse (UNODC) (UNODC).
  • Pandemic Impact: The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated trafficking issues, making it more challenging to identify and support victims due to lockdowns and reduced mobility (UNODC).

Factors Contributing to Violence:

  • Cultural Norms and Legal Frameworks: In many regions, cultural norms and weak legal frameworks perpetuate violence against women. For example, in some societies, there is a high acceptance of wife-beating, with significant numbers of both men and women believing it is justified under certain circumstances (World Bank Gender Data Portal).
  • Childhood Exposure: Children growing up in abusive households are more likely to perpetuate or experience intimate partner violence in adulthood, creating a cycle of violence (World Bank Gender Data Portal).

Now as a woman, you think what you should do? After thinking, let's see what Islam gives to a woman. How much dignity and respect. How much right? Let's compare.

He said: Your mother. The man said: Then who? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Your mother. He said: Then who? He said, Your mother. He said: Then who? He said: Then your father. • Narrated by Amr a Naqid (RA) ..... on the authority of Anas Ibn Malik (RA). He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever brings up two daughters until they reach puberty, he and I will be side by side on the Day of Resurrection. He joined his fingers.
